HOW TO SELL
Sell used machinery
Registration
- Complete online registration form by clicking on “REGISTER”; it is FREE
- A copy of your completed online registration form will be sent to your email address. Print, sign and send the form along with a copy of your Identity Card to Fax: +32 (2) 706 24 20 or Email: register@mrmachinery.com
- Shortly after, we will send your username and password by email enabling you to sell used machinery through our standard or certified auctions
- It's also possible to sell new machinery on our website
Selling
A. Standard Auction: Do-It-Yourself
Go to MY ACCOUNT / Create Auction and upload your machinery details and pictures. In less than 2 minutes your machinery will be displayed for thousands of users to bid on.

Section 1:
- This is where you insert auction details, machine specifications and description
- Auction Duration is the number of days you want the auction to last. If you do not choose a Start Date, the auction starts immediately after you save it
- Indicating exact location (country & town) will help buyers estimate transport and freight costs
- Auctions are awarded only if the Reserve Price is met.
Section 2:
- This is where you upload pictures
- You can upload maximum 1 x Main and 6 x Additional pictures. Simply click on "Browse" and choose images from your personal files.
- Note that the system accepts images with maximum size of 1,5 MB (1500 kb). Please reduce all images accordingly before upload.
- "Main picture" is the preview image for your auction. Only preview images are displayed on MrMachinery homepage under “ENDING SOON” and “NEW ENTRIES”.
Section 3:
- This is where you can activate additional functions
- Activating "Display Questions and Answers" will display all communications between seller and buyer; making the transaction more transparent to users.
Activating this function reduces the number of duplicate questions.
- Activating "Allow make an offer" allows users to send an offer to the seller, which if accepted, closes the auction before its scheduled closing date and time. If the seller declines an offer, the auction continues as scheduled.
Offers expire automatically after 2 days.
When you are done, click on save to review and confirm auction. You can now sell your used machinery.
B. Certified Auction: Do-It-4U
Certified Auctions are unreserved bi-monthly auctions conducted on behalf of the seller, exclusively by MrMachinery, offering the following advantages.

- inspect your machinery and take pictures
- certify your machinery and issue an inspection report
- publish your machinery and inspection reports on MrMachinery website

- guarantee to the buyer the accuracy of published information and certify the quality of machines being sold
- handle on-site inspection visits
- handle documentation, transport and shipping
- handle all financial transactions through a secure bank account

Payment
Buyers must pay hammer price to seller latest 7 days after end of auction. Buyer’s contact details will be communicated in “Item Sold” email notification.
Sellers must pay auction fee to MrMachinery latest 30 days after end of auction.
You can review your Auction Statements in your MY ACCOUNT / Auction Statement.
