Use the maximum bid button
When an auction starts, enter the maximum price you are willing to pay and click on the MAXIMUM BID button. The system will automatically increase your bid by the bid increment, until it reaches your MAXIMUM BID.
You are the highest bidder when an auction ends, you will receive an “Auction Won” email notification confirming that you have won the auction and asking you to contact the seller for payment and removal.
Also, Maximum Bids are automatically invalidated when a new higher value Maximum Bids is entered. If this happens, you will receive an email from us informing you that you have been outbid and are no longer the highest bidder, giving you the opportunity to increase your maximum bid, if desired.
Example:
Starting price = 35,000EUR
Bid increment = 500EUR
User X inserts Maximum bid of 50,000EUR
User Y inserts Maximum bid of 40,000EUR
The system simultaneously records and invalidates user Y's maximum bid (40,000EUR) because user X has a higher Maximum bid. The currect bid automatically jumps from 35,000EUR to 40,500EUR (user Y's maximum bid of 40,000EUR + bid increment of 500EUR), with user X as highest bidder.
Payment
At the end of a Certified Auction, Buyers must pay Mister Machinery the hammer price within 5 working days of the closing of the Auction. Mister Machinery shall remit the purchase price to the Seller. Payments are carried out by bank transfer only.
You can review your Auction Statements in your MY ACCOUNT / Auction Statement.
Collection details will be communicated by email notification, once full payment (including any VAT) has been received by Mister Machinery.
Removal
For documents, road transport and other freight requirements, MrMachinery staff will assist you from start to finish.
All purchases must be picked up at the Seller’s premises within 2 weeks following the auction closing date, and all costs, of such removal shall be responsible by the Buyer.
The Sellers shall be responsible for the equipment until removal from the Seller’s location by the Buyer .
All information about the transportation must be communicated to the Seller in order to allow him to issue the necessary documents
